Yoga Teacher, Nutrition Therapist & Lifestyle coach & Owner of Inside Out Wellness

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and it has been life-changing for me.

It has made me aware of my body not just physically but emotionally and mentally too, and this is something I want to share.

I have always had an interest in nutrition and I was brought up eating healthy whole foods.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and sent home with a multivitamin and antidepressants, my health was in my own hands. Through research and attending alternative medical professionals, I changed my diet and lifestyle.

Slowly over 2 years, I managed to regain my full health, energy and most importantly my life back.

This happened through the changes I made with my nutrition and lifestyle, along with my yoga practice.

In 2017 I completed my Yoga Teacher training and in 2020 I completed my Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach training, and finally graduating as a Nutritional Therapist in 2023.

I am fully committed and passionate about empowering women to take control of their health and wellbeing during midlife and their transition into menopause. I provide the knowledge, guidance and know how to help navigate associated health issues that consequently may arise. Using my expertise in yoga and nutrition, I will educate and guide women to make the best choices, helping them to eat better, sleep better and feel better, so they can live a healthy, long, and happy life.

I have gained the knowledge and expertise to guide and support you in improving your diet and getting your life back.

Last year in 2020 I was delighted to have been awarded the winner of the Power Within Champion for Network Waterford Businesswoman of the year 2020. This was a special moment for me as it recognised how far I had come and my passion for what I do to support individuals in their journey of wellness.

 
 

Qualifications

I continue to learn and update my yoga and nutrition skills by attending weekend training and workshops, to share with my clients and students, and keep me up to date with the latest science.

  • 2023 - After 4 years of studying I graduated with a level 7 DIP in Nutritional Therapy with IHS and Crossfields Insitute.

  • 2021 - Yoga and Nutrition for Stages of Menopause with Niamh Daly.

  • 2020 - Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach, Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) and certified by The Crossfields Institute.

 

• 2019 – Special Yoga and Mindfulness for Autism and ADHD training with Joyti Manuel, renowned for introducing yoga into schools in the UK as seen on BBC.

• 2017 - 80 Hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Sarah Lo certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK.

• 2017 - 200 Hour teacher training with Alphazone School of Yoga certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK and over 100 hours of further training with international yoga teachers.
